Cowboys vs Steelers Winning Prediction – KingSportsPicks.com
Dallas Cowboys (7-1, 7-1 ATS, 4-0 Road) vs Pittsburgh Steelers (4-4, 4-4 ATS, 3-1 Home)
Odds: Steelers -2.5, 49.5
The most impressive team thus far in the 2016 NFL season has been the Dallas Cowboys and their rookie duo of QB Dak Prescott and RB Ezekiel Elliott. In what could have easily been a trap game last week vs the Browns, the Cowboys emerged 35-10 winners and covering the -7 point spread. Dak Prescott went 21-of-27 for 247 yards and three touchdowns, while Ezekiel Elliott forged ahead on the ground with 18 carries for 92 yards and two scores. On the season, Prescott has thrown for over 2,000 yards and 12 touchdowns and is considered an early MVP frontrunner.
Pittsburgh will be playing desperate football after falling to (4-4) on the season after losing their 3rd straight game. Ben Roethlisberger came back from a knee injury to go 23-of-45 for 264 yards, a TD, an INT and a rush TD but it wasn’t enough as the Steelers fell to the Ravens 21-14.
The Steelers are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games, and 14-6-2 ATS versus a team with a winning record. The Steelers are also 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games following a straight-up loss, and 1-7 ATS in their last eight games in November.
Dallas is 6-0 ATS in their last six games following a straight-up win, and 6-0 ATS in their last six games following an ATS win. The Cowboys are also 7-0 ATS in their last seven games overall, and 4-0 ATS in their last four road games.
Will Pittsburgh finally snap their losing streak? It’s hard to say but from a bettors perspective it’s also hard to pass up on backing the Cowboys +2.5. Dallas has scored at least 28 points in their last four games and they have really rallied behind the rookie quarterback. The Cowboys have all the momentum winning 7 straight games and until they show some weakness I will take the points even on the road in a tough environment.
Cowboys vs Steelers Winning Prediction: Dallas Cowboys +2.5
