If it couldn’t get any worse for UCLA (3-5) they lose their starting QB Josh Rosen. There is speculation as to whether Rosen will return this season but we do know he will be out of the lineup vs Colorado.
Senior Mike Fafaul has taken over for Rosen and he hasn’t faired too well. He has thrown for 8 touchdowns but also 8 interceptions. One of the issues with Bruins offense is the lack of a run game. The Burins average just 85.5 yards per game and this will really hurt their chance vs the Buffaloes.
The UCLA defense is giving up 26.8 points per game with 173 rushing yards and 195.8 passing yards per game. They will need to lean on their defense big time Wednesday night facing a Colorado offense that is averaging 35.4.

The #21 ranked Colorado Buffaloes look to defend their home field in Boulder and improve their Pac 12 record to (5-1). Colorado currently leads the Pac 12 South division by a game over Utah.
It may have taken a while for CU to get back in the national spotlight but the current Seniors are finally seeing their rebuilding process pay off.
Quarterback Sefo Liufau has been able to complete 67.4 percent of his passes, throwing for 1,179 yards and seven touchdowns. Phillip Lindsay has led the ground attack for Colorado, collecting nine touchdowns and 745 yards on 119 carries.
CU sits 19th in the nation averaging close to 500 yards per game and 13th in the nation in total defense allowing slightly over 300 yards.

UCLA vs Colorado Pick & Prediction
The UCLA Bruins are more than likely going to have to find a way through the air to move the ball on Thursday night, and that could be dangerous against a stingy Colorado defense. The Buffaloes have a well balanced attack with the ball and I don’t see them having any problem moving the ball up and down the field against the Bruins. Take the Buffaloes at home. It’s a large number to lay but the Bruins are headed in the opposite direction and with a #21 ranked CU team, this crowd in Boulder will be electric.
